  • For a 120 mL (4 fl oz) teapot or gaiwan, use 6 g (0.21 oz) of tea.

  • Rinse the tea before the first infusion.

  • For the first infusion, steep the tea for 15 seconds in water at a temperature above 95°C (203°F).

  • Steep the tea for 12 seconds for the second to fourth infusion.

  • For each subsequent infusion, increase the steeping time.

  • This tea is good for 8 or more infusions.

  • Use spring water or purified water. Do not use tap water.

  • Ripe Pu'er is a category of dark tea crafted from the large-leaf tea tree varieties native to Yunnan. Thanks to pile fermentation techniques, this tea offers a full-bodied experience.

  • This Ripe Pu'er originated from ancient tea gardens in Wuliang Mountain and was crafted from large, stem-included fresh leaves, also known as "yellow flakes." Although these leaves may appear coarse, their low content of polyphenols and high level of polysaccharides contribute to a tea that is low in bitterness and astringency yet rich and mellow in flavor.

This tea benefits from large-pile fermentation, which optimizes microbial diversity and fermentation efficiency, resulting in a clean and unique taste profile.

  • Upon tasting, you'll be greeted by delicate notes of glutinous sweetness and woody aroma, offering a palate that is both light and sweet. Devoid of any bitterness or astringency, the tea provides a rich, smooth texture. Overall, this tea embodies an unpretentious and approachable warmth, and is as easy to brew as it is delightful to enjoy.
