  • For the first infusion, steep the tea for 12 seconds in water at a temperature above 95°C (203°F).

  • Steep the tea for 6 seconds for the second to fourth infusion.

  • For each subsequent infusion, increase the steeping time.

  • This tea is good for 8 or more infusions.

  • Use spring water or purified water. Do not use tap water.

  • Ripe Pu'er is a category of dark tea crafted from the large-leaf tea tree varieties native to Yunnan. Thanks to the pile fermentation techniques, this tea offers a full-bodied experience.

  • Our 2022 Yiwu Ripe Pu'er comes from the largest of the “Ancient Six Renowned Tea Mountains” in Xishuangbanna. This area has been an epicenter for Pu'er tea cultivation since the Qing Dynasty. Nestled in an untouched tropical rainforest frequented by monkeys, the tea garden boasts a flourishing ecosystem. Influenced by a blend of Dai and Han cultures, the tea varieties in Yiwu have been cultivated to capture this unique intersection. These Yiwu Lyuya trees have low catechin content, producing a brew that is mellow, sweet, and devoid of bitterness or astringency. Our tea was exclusively sourced from tall ancient Yiwu Lyuya tea trees.

This tea underwent large-pile fermentation, ensuring microbial diversity and fermentation efficiency. This guarantees the tea's enchanting flavor profile and its significant aging potential.

  • Upon tasting, you'll find a pure infusion that exudes the aroma of wildflowers and pine wood. Its flavor profile is fresh and rich, enveloping your palate in a texture as delicate and silky as a blend between fruit jelly and wood. The finish is sweet, leaving a lasting, salivating aftertaste that entices the senses. Moreover, natural aging will only serve to enhance its diverse aromatic profile and deepen its rich mouthfeel.
