Chinese Tea Tasting: Rare Pu'er Teas

  • Teasthetic 89 5th Avenue, Ste 701 New York, NY, 10003 United States (map)

In this unique experience, you’ll take part in a peaceful Chinese tea ceremony to savor two premium teas. We will brew each tea multiple times using the Gongfu Brewing method and guide you to appreciate the multiple layers of its flavors.

Each Chinese Tea Tasting session features two teas specially selected for the season. For this session, we’ll brew two rare Pu'er Teas—a Raw Pu'er and a Ripe Pu'er—harvested from the same 500-year-old tea garden atop Wuliang Mountain in Yunnan, China:

  • Bolin Raw Pu'er, intertwining prune and wood aroma with a hint of rock sugar sweetness

  • Bolin Ripe Pu'er, offering a striking cleanness and unfolding with complex notes of orchid, cedarwood, and nuttiness

This session offers a unique opportunity to explore and compare the nuances of Raw and Ripe Pu'er, crafted from the same ancient tea garden.
