  • Wuyi Rock Tea is the progenitor of Oolong teas and a rare gem in this category. Named for its unique growing environment in the weathered soil of Wuyi Mountains, this tea can be categorized based on origin: Zhengyan, Banyan, Zhoucha, and Waishan. Wuyi Rock Tea boasts a diversity of tea tree varieties, with the most prominent being Rougui, Shuixian, and Dahongpao.

  • In a market where Zhengyan teas are hard to find at reasonable prices, our Dawangfeng Rougui offers exceptional value. Sourced from Dawangfeng Peak within the Wuyi Mountain Scenic Area, this is an authentic Zhengyan tea.

It is meticulously crafted using traditional techniques, featuring multiple low-temperature, long-duration charcoal roasting sessions, ensuring an even and thorough transformation of its flavors and aromas.

  • This tea epitomizes the defining qualities of a Zhengyan tea. Unlike ordinary Rougui, its flavor profile is deeper and more full-bodied. Experience the layered complexity of this tea's aroma, a tapestry of floral, nutty, and creamy notes, complemented by a crisp, clear texture that leaves a refreshing aftertaste. This Rougui not only enchants your senses but also imprints a lasting memory, displaying the pure, rock-imbued essence, known as “Yanyun”—the hallmark of true Wuyi Rock Teas.
